Creating & Using the FSA ID to complete the FAFSA
Click here for instructions on creating and using the FSA ID. This username and password will be used to log into US Department of Education online systems, including the myStudentAid mobile app, fafsa.gov, StudentAid.gov, and StudentLoans.gov. It is considered your legal signature and should not be used by anyone other than you. You and your student will need to create one. You will use the FSA ID ever year you fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form and for the lifetime of your federal student loans.
