 Mr. Craig Baker, Principal
As a member of the GTHS Administration team, I am a true believer in WARRIOR P.R.I.D.E. (Personal Responsibility In Delivering Excellence).   EVERY STUDENT, EVERY TEACHER, EVERY DAY!   It is the WARRIOR WAY!  I am committed to the success of our students in the classroom and on the fields as I work collaboratively with the Warrior Team: students, parents, teachers, Board of Education, and the entire Grovetown community.  Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.


Mr. John Bush, Assistant Principal

Mr. Bush is entering his 3rd year in administration at Grovetown High School. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from South Carolina (2008), a Master’s degree from Augusta State (2010), and his Specialist’s degree from Liberty University (2014). Mr. Bush has taught a variety of Social Studies subjects and P.E. during his career in education. Mr. Bush looks forward to working with the wonderful students at GTHS. Warriors Lead The Way!

Assistant Principal

Nichole Lewis earned her Bachelor’s degree from University of South Carolina in 2007 (Go Gamecocks!). She graduated from Augusta State University in 2009 with a Master’s in Teaching, and in 2011 with a Specialist in Educational Leadership . This is her eleventh year serving students in Columbia County, but her thirteenth year in education. She began her career working with students with disabilities and has also served as a Math Teacher and Graduation Coach. She is passionate about helping students achieve academic success and seeing them fulfill their potential as contributing citizens. The thing Mrs. Lewis loves most about being at Grovetown High is that she is investing in the community where she lives. Warriors Lead the Way!

Assistant Principal

Mr. Rodriguez is proud to be a WARRIOR! He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of West Florida, a Master’s from the University of South Florida and his Specialist’s degree from Augusta University. Mr. Rodriguez has taught math and special education throughout his tenure as an educator. He also served as the Instructional Coach and Head Football Coach at the Academy of Richmond County prior to entering administration. Mr. Rodriguez is married to Cassie Rodriguez, an educator in the Columbia County School District, and has two children that attend Columbia County schools. Mr. Rodriguez enjoys working with the students and faculty at Grovetown High and looks forward to Leading the Way as a part of the Warrior family.

Mr. Andrew Young, Assistant Principal

Mr. Young is in his 7th year in administration.  He received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Augusta State University.  He received his M.Ed and Ed.S in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College.  He has 12 years of passionate teaching experience in the area of high school mathematics.  His teaching experience ranges from teaching support math up through AP Calculus.  Mr. Young has a passion for developing students to become life-long learners.  This is Mr. Young’s 2nd year at Grovetown High School, and he is very excited about working with the students, parents, and community of Grovetown!
