Textbooks
Beginning of the Year
- Items are checked out in the media center during the first two weeks of school.
- New students are issued textbooks upon enrollment.
- Students will complete a "Textbook Damage Form" documenting damage upon receipt of book. It is the student's responsibility to go through each of their books and not any damages on the form and turn the form in to the Learning Commons staff. This form is kept on file in the media center.
- All overdue textbooks from previous years must be returned (or paid for) before textbooks for the current year will be issued.
- All items are checked out through Destiny which can be access at any time through ClassLink.
- Students are accountable for items checked out through Destiny.
End of the Year
- All items are returned to the media center. Students are responsible to personally return items to Mrs. Livingston or Ms. Childs and have each item scanned in before leaving the media center.
- Each student is responsible to ensure that he/she is returning his/her own books and not a friend's book.

Textbook Tips
- Keep up with your books!
- It is not a good idea to keep your books in a classroom, locker room, cafeteria, etc.
- Be careful allowing friend borrow your book(s). If your friend loses your book, you are still responsible for payment.
- Cover your books with a paper bag or something similar. Book socks do not do a good job protecting books
