Dear Parents,
In an effort to keep you informed, we are notifying you of a school-wide intruder drill that was conducted today. School operations will continue as normal.
As part of the drill, students in each classroom participated in an announced simulation. Teachers discussed grade-level appropriate intruder scenarios and responses for each.
Safety of students and staff is a top priority, and while this was not a true emergency, we felt it necessary for our parents to be informed. In the event of an emergency, parents will be notified directly.
