Hello Warrior parents - GTHS is starting an Academic Booster Club for the 2021-2022 school year and we need your help!
We need to elect officers and would love for you to volunteer for an officer position. Below are the positions and a brief description of each.
- President: The President shall preside over meetings of the organization and any executive board meetings. The President will serve as the primary contact for the principal and represent the school and GTHS Academic Booster Club at meetings outside of the organization. The President should be a positive role model for the school and community.
- Vice President: The Vice President shall assist the President and carry out the President’s duties in his or her absence or inability to serve. The Vice President shall also oversee the committee of the GTHS Academic Booster Club.
- Secretary: The Secretary shall keep all records of the organization, take and record minutes, prepare the agenda, handle correspondence, and send notes of the meetings to the membership. The Secretary will also keep a copy of the minute notes, bylaws, rules, membership list, and any other necessary supplies and bring those to the meetings.
- Treasurer: The Treasurer shall receive all funds of the organization, keep an accurate record of pay outs an incoming funds. This will be done in concert with the GTHS bookkeeper. The Treasurer will present a financial update at every meeting and at other times of the year when requested by the executive board.
